that extra country fragrance.
The standard liquid fragrances
supplied by Country Reflections can be used in wax candles,
potpourri, air fresheners, gel candles, and room sprays. Many of
the standard fragrances are skin safe and can be used in soaps and
lotions. Country Reflections offers standard fragrances are 100%
concentrated and will offer your candle a very lively scent.
Candle makers have used candle fragrances for years. The standard
fragrances are measured by weight not liquid volume.
Our candle supplies also includes zinc
core wick. Zinc core wick is used in many applications such as
tea-lights, votives and container candles. Zinc burns the coolest of
all the cored wicks and offers the most rigidity and are easily
positioned. These wicks are constructed by using 100% natural fibers
that covers a zinc core. Zinc cored wicks are most effective in
paraffin based waxes. If to be used in natural/renewable (one-pour)
waxes, you may need to select a larger size wick from our candle
supplies selections.
Candle wax additives in our candle
supplies section provide the candle maker with tools to tailor
paraffin waxes. Using wax additives can offer the candle maker the
ability to soften, increase the rigidity, melting point, and
fragrance retention of paraffin waxes. They are also used to
eliminate surface imperfections, improve gloss and mold release of
your candles. Choose the candle additive that best suits your needs.
Country Reflections carries a full
line of pre-blended candle waxes in its candle supplies section.
These waxes are fully formulated and require no additional additives
except for UV light stabilizers. These blends have a paraffin base
with special additives compounded for ease in specific applications.
The ever popular Astrolite J-50 is
found in the candle supplies selection. This specialty candle wax
blend is designed for the manufacturer of container candles. The
wax’s cohesive properties and low shrinkage allow it to offer you
one pour behavior with excellent adherence to container wall. This
wax exhibits excellent fragrance through hot and cold.
Lastly we need to mention the color
blocks you will find in the candle supplies section. The following
color concentrates in block form (1" x 2" x 1/2") are ample enough
to color 15 lbs. of wax a deep shade. Most people use one block for
20 lbs. of wax to obtain a medium shade. These dye blocks are
formulated from aniline dyes to give clear, bright tones or shades
and are sediment free. .
Color Blocks are good to start with
and are easy to control shades and match same colors. They are great
for making solid color candles.
